Beaded Turkey, c. 1940

This funky turkey lived in the attic here at Eagle Plume's for decades until Ann rescued it.  Folk art from perhaps Zuni Pueblo in blue, red, and "leftover" beads, and adorned with parrot feathers.

Bear Claw Necklace

Paul Szabo, Sicangu Lakota

Dayton asked Lakota jeweler, Paul Szabo, to do something with these hind grizzly claws that had been kicking around. A few months later, this necklace came in the mail with a note explaining that his new puppy had chewed the claws up a bit.  Paul inlaid the damaged areas with buffalo horn...brilliant! And we had a good laugh.
